Painting and Repairs Project Manager

We are excited to announce, we are appointing a Painting and Repairs, Project Manager to be based in our Redruth Office to cover the Cornwall.

The role:

  • Assist the Cornwall Painting Manager in day-to-day management of works
  • To oversee and manage the Painting & repairs Projects across Cornwall
  • To oversee the painting labour team and allocate resources to each contract
  • To assist in Recruitment when required
  • Surveying of works and providing quotations to clients
  • To assist, organise and host regular team talks
  • To secure closure and sign off projects when completed
  • To assist in invoicing clients in an accurate and timely manner
  • Signing off weekly timesheets
  • Supplying of purchase orders for materials
  • Responsible for Health and Safety on site including completing Rams and making sure sites are compliant (with the support of a Health & Safety Manager)
  • Liaising with residents and clients to organise works
  • Conduct site inspections and compile written reports

Skills required:

  • Supervisory or Management experience essential
  • Desirable to have a trade related background. However, a strong manager will be considered with little trade knowledge
  • Knowledge of H&S desirable
  • Must have a good knowledge of using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Full driving license required
