WMS are proud of our record of promoting and delivering social value initiatives that really make a positive impact on people’s lives.

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the local communities in which we work we recently identified a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference at the Treneere Aspire project in Penzance.

Working alongside our client partners we agreed to approach Whole Again Communities (WAC) as an ideal beneficiary for part of our social value provision

WAC is a social enterprise which encourages and supports local people to learn to cook good quality affordable food grown from scratch so they can embrace healthy eating at home.

WAC were thrilled when we approached them and quickly identified the design supply and construction of raised community planters as giving maximum value to their initiatives at Treneere.

Our images show the construction of the planters which have been extremely well received by the community, we hope they help give many years of enjoyment (and healthy home grown food!) to everyone at Treneere!

WMS were thrilled to receive yet another piece of positive feedback, this time from a resident having had a new bathroom installed.

We never take such feedback for granted and would like to thank all clients and residents for taking the time to share their thoughts with us!

WMS Yeovil office were recognised once again for delivering a fantastic product in Somerset! Securing a high profile refurbishment contract via competitive tender WMS replaced windows to all 42 apartments of this 5 storey care home, installed new fascia, soffits and rainwater goods and arranged removal of asbestos as appropriate.

So pleased were the residents with the results and the manner in which the work was delivered the team received a round of applause at the end of project wash up meeting!

WMS Contracts Manager Steve “Foxy” Fox pulled out all the stops delivering this project! 

In a workspace best described as a “little bit tight” you can see the challenges Steve and the team had gaining access to, removing and replacing timber cladding with a composite alternative.

But with a little thought and a whole lot of pre-planning the guys did it, another feather in the cap for the North Devon Team!

I appear to have lost the original copy of the email l sent to the contractors.

I would like to make it known to them how satisfied l am with the exceptional work carried out by their team.

John did a fantastic job always explaining what his daily tasks would be and cleaning up as he went, which allowed me to use all other facilities with no problem at all.

His performance & attitude was second to none always going that extra mile to satisfy.

The work was completed on time to a very high standard

I would have no problem recommending them to other people. And would like to thank Claire and yourself for making me have a fabulous bathroom that’s a pleasure to use.
