Following the successful completion of office space into residential flats in the adjacent building, WMS were delighted to tender for and be awarded the next phase of conversion to provide city centre living accommodation from redundant office space.
The Client provided a simple brief to us, their Principal Contractor, to provide high quality living space within the original building fabric. A new entrance Doorset and staircase were installed with new roof lights as well as rewiring and re-plumbing.
Behind the scenes, full sound proofing to floors, wall and staircases was installed to separate residences from businesses on the ground floor and external walls were insulated to the highest specification.
Bespoke timber sash windows were installed throughout the building to protect the integrity and appearance of the city centre building and a full fire protection system was installed as well as compartmentation to satisfy stringent Building Regulations and well as providing safety for residents and the businesses sited below.
WMS were delighted to have completed this project on time and in budget for RTP Surveyors and all 4 flats were sold prior to completion of works.
